			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>One of the recognised ways of learning Processing is to tinker with other people&#8217;s code. You may not understand what each line of the code does, but by changing some of the numbers you can see which lines affect which parts of the sketch.</p>
<p><a href="http://createdigitalmotion.com/">Create Digital Motion</a>, an excellent site for interesting digital activities, has an article on <a href="http://createdigitalmotion.com/2007/04/17/breakout-hacked-into-art-in-processing/">hacking</a> a Breakout game and thereby creating art. It&#8217;s really impressive what the <a href="http://www.trsp.net/teaching/gamemod/">participants</a> managed in only six hours, and the variety is stunning. You can download and examine each participant&#8217;s altered code, though be warned that the comments are in Spanish &#8211; an additional language to deal with!</p>
<p>UPDATE: There&#8217;s a <a href="http://vimeo.com/393432">video</a> edit of the various results. I liked quite a few of them, but particularly from 02:33.</p>
